A friend sent me an email that supposedly
tells us how eight year old children
defined a grandparent. If this is made up, or
not, I don't know, but I liked these two:
Grandparents are a lady and a man
who have no little children of their own.
They like other people's.
I know Kate will hear about Norway, but
having a grandma living far away, may look
like this:
A 6-year-old was asked where his grandma
lived. "Oh", he said, "she lives at the airport,
and when we want her, we just go get her.
Then when we are done having her visit, we
take her back to the airport."
